The conversations block provides a way for guests to comment on content in your website. When commenting, users can be given the permission to add attachments along with a maximum number and size (which can also differ for guests and authenticated users). Email notifications can also be configured to facilitate both comment moderation and user discussion by alerting users when a comment has received a reply.
One perennial problem with conversations on any website is the tendancy for the discussion to turn negative or insulting. To help prevent that, a list of banned words can be constructed to prevent users from engaging in that type of behavior.
As with other functionality in Concrete CMS, conversations feature a rich set of permissions which allow you to fine-tune the way users engage in conversations on your website.
