In Concrete CMS, the “Waiting for Me” dashboard page is a centralized hub where you can manage content awaiting your review or approval.

Accessing the “Waiting for Me” Page

  1. Log in to your Concrete CMS dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Dashboard > Workflow > Waiting for Me.

Understanding the “Waiting for Me” Dashboard

The “Waiting for Me” page displays a list of items requiring your attention, such as:

  • Pending Page Changes: Pages awaiting your approval before publication.
  • Form Submissions: Recent entries submitted through site forms.
  • Private Messages: Direct messages sent to you by other users.

Reviewing and Managing Items

Each item in the list includes:

  • Page Name: The title of the affected page.
  • URL: The relative path to the page.
  • Last Action: The timestamp of the last action performed on the request.
  • Current Status: A description of the action requested.

To review an item:

  1. Click on the item’s title to view more details.
  2. For page changes, use the Compare Versions feature to see side-by-side comparisons of the current and proposed versions.

Approving or Denying Requests

  • Approve: Click Approve to accept the changes, which will then be applied to the live site.
  • Deny: Click Deny to reject the changes, prompting the requester to make further revisions.

By regularly monitoring the “Waiting for Me” dashboard, you ensure timely reviews and approvals, maintaining the workflow efficiency of your Concrete CMS site.
